Jakarta -Centalinformationasean.com) President Prabowo Subianto revealed the figure behind the formation of the Indonesian Planting Movement (Gerina) which was launched in South Sumatra, Wednesday, April 23, 2025. They are Ustaz Adi Hidensi and the President’s special envoy for the economy and banking of Setiawan Ichlas.
“What was spearheaded by Ustaz Adi Hidayat and figures like Brother Iwan Setiawan Ichlas, my old friend, was happy,” Prabowo said at the launch of Gerina in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Prabowo told him that he met Ustaz Adi Hidayat at the Jakarta Presidential Palace in March 2025 or when breaking fasting together. During the meeting, said Ustaz Adi Hidayat
“I am happy that today there is a cleric, there is a visionary cleric. His mind is extraordinary, especially the leaders of the ulama, Islam but the Pancasila insight,” he said.
According to him, Ustaz Adi Hidaya is a scholar who covers everyone despite a different religion. Ustaz Adi Hidayat considers everyone in Indonesia as their own family and relatives.
“This is Indonesia, this is Indonesia that we like, this is Indonesia which will continue to build, will continue to increase into a safe, peaceful and strong country,” Prabowo said.
Meanwhile, Prabowo called Iwan Setiawan who pioneered Gerina as his old friend. He believes innovation, improvisation, research, and technology that will bring Indonesia to a successful country in the food sector.
“What is pioneered here is an example and I believe many people like this that we might need to provide opportunities to develop and grow,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo thanked Ustaz Adi Hidayat for pioneering the Indonesian Movement Movement program. He believes that Indonesia is able to achieve its own food that is not only at the provincial level, but also in every village.
“The resurrection of a nation starts from the smallest unit, we want Indonesia to be a self -defense in food, which means that each province must be a cute self. Each province -provincial province means that each district must be a sneer for yourself,” he said.
“Each cuficiency district means that each sub -distribution must be in the form of self -curiosity. If the self -sufficiency sub -distribution means that each village must be a cute self,” continued Prabowo.
Through this Gerina program, two food crop planting programs that have been developed and introduced to President Prabowo. There is an opung or floating rice solution that uses a pool of water to plant rice.
“So, who does not have land plants, he has a swimming pool or he wants to make next to his house, it can be collected at an affordable cost, so it can be processed and can harvest,” explained Ustaz Adi Hidayat.
The second program is called Si Cepot, which is a fast harvest solution through pots that have conducted research to plant rice fields. Not only that, media pots can also be used to grow other food ingredients such as chili and potatoes.
“From the rice fields, we examined with pots. The pan then examined the shape, gram, volume. And if we can compose a family, it can simulate 5 people, the need to eat X is all, with pot planting 3 times the season, it can save 100-300 thousand compared to buying normally, “said Ustaz Adi Hidaya.
